How Google Analytics Works
Google Analytics basically, is software that is connected to your website through some tracking code. This small piece of Javascript code is created within your analytics account and looks like this :
Once the code is generated, it then needs to be added into the HTML back end of your website. This code needs to placed on every page of your website that you want to track then simply visit your Analytics dashboard to view the results.
